To launch their new Gluten Free Berry Flavour Crunch, Weet-Bix wanted an ad that reflected the brand’s long-standing values of honesty and wholesomeness. Nothing hidden, just real ingredients. Stop motion was the perfect fit, letting us work directly with the cereal itself, celebrate its bright new flavour, and add a touch of playful animation magic.

We designed a lively one-shot sequence filmed entirely from above. A Weet-Bix brick bursts out of the box, shoots into the air, explodes apart, then reforms and lands in the bowl, with a bold berry pink colour shift marking the change. This top-down “oner” approach reinforced Weet-Bix’s genuine, down-to-earth character while keeping the tone fun, bright, and family-friendly.

The campaign rolled out on social media in both 15-second and 6-second versions, formatted for horizontal, vertical and square viewing, with a tailored version created for New Zealand audiences. By combining the energy of stop motion with the honesty of the real product, the ad stayed true to Weet-Bix’s role as an iconic, trusted part of family life.
