Ki Swui Kya
Century Egg
Ki Swui Kya was created through the SYNC Music Video Program at AFCOOP in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where we were lucky enough to be paired with the incredible band Century Egg. Not only does the band make irresistibly catchy music, but they’re also led by a creative couple, Shane Song and Robert Drisdelle—an inspiring dynamic that mirrored our own collaborative approach.
Shane Song, in addition to fronting the band, is also a brilliant visual artist and video game designer. She contributed all of the 2D illustrations featured in the clip, which became a core part of the visual language. Her style brought a deeply personal and playful energy to the video.
We were also thrilled to collaborate with production designer Emily Lawrence, whose bold and surreal creations—oversized food, abstract props, and playful body pieces—helped shape the vivid, offbeat world of the video.
The production was one of those rare projects where every single person went above and beyond. It was a joyful, creatively generous process, and the result is something we’re deeply proud to have been part of.
