We developed this animated video as part of ACON's Pride Training E-learning Suite, designed specifically for the ACON Rovers Program.

The Rovers are volunteer teams that support LGBTQ+ events, dance parties, and community gatherings by promoting a culture of care. Their role includes providing harm reduction services, offering medical or peer support, sharing event information, and assisting patrons in need—all while helping to create safer, more inclusive spaces for sexuality and gender diverse communities.

To reflect the energy and visibility of the Rovers themselves, we created a bold visual style using a limited colour palette of hot pink, grey scale and textures. The design strikes a balance between practical clarity and expressive flair—giving the video a distinctive look that feels at home in nightlife spaces while remaining accessible and easy to follow.

The animation combines character-driven scenes with stylised motion graphics, helping to clearly communicate both the ethos of the program and the practical ways Rovers contribute to community wellbeing. It’s one part of ACON’s broader strategy to deliver engaging, peer-informed e-learning for sexuality and gender diverse communities.
