TAKE48 - 48 Hour Film Making Challenge

Zoomies was created using a mix of physical and digital animation, this three minute short tells the story of a foodie, or a bicycle food-delivery person… I mean cat. This working cat is struggling to make enough to eat in a big, busy city.

Their friend gives them a hot tip,

“Try leaving a note on the delivery for a higher tip!”

Despite going above and beyond with the notes, they still cannot reach their goal. Their friend helps them out and they share some pizza to celebrate. This story is captioned in English from the original language of Catspeak.

The film was made in 48 hours using a combination of physical puppets, props, sets and 2D illustrations. It was animated using stop-motion animation and 2D animation as well as composited and edited together using After Effects.
